Note from Tricia50Leading a clan is a lot of work, both on the battle field and off. It's
a demanding and time consuming task. So why am I doing it? What's in it
for me?
Honestly, the same thing that's in it for you, a vibrant
and lively organization that I can count on to keep me entertained,
informed, and alive as much as possible. That's really all I'm after.
Though I tend to be a loner, I very much enjoy and appreciate
team-play, even and perhaps especially when I'm not directly grouped
with my clan-mates.
I simply couldn't find a single clan out
there that had everything I had hoped I'd find. The big clans tend to
be led by iron-fisted egoists, the small clans often don't have more
than a pair of members online at the same time. I'm doing this in the
hopes that I can foster the creation of a clan organization that I'll
be happy with, and I'm betting if I'm happy with it, others will be,
too.
I also enjoy the process of writing and designing a
website. I do that sort of thing "in real-life," and it's a hobby for
me anyway. I hope that those who read the backstory of 3305 Local enjoy
it, and I hope to continue developing a sense of character for 3305
Local and information on the early days of 3305 Local and the thoughts
and feelings of its original, now missing, miner members. I even hope
to "publish" an entirely in-character newsletter called "Defiance" but
I'm getting ahead of myself.
The history of 3305 Local is as
inclusive a background as a clan organization can have. The only thing
the founding members of 3305 had in common was the fact that they were
abused miners. I hope that everyone who reads this, considering joining
3305 Local, feels they would be able to weave their character's history
into that sort of background.
Remember, you need not have been a
miner, a lifelong clan member, or even a native of Rubi-Ka to join 3305
Local, just a rebel intent on securing freedom for yourself and your
fellow Rubi-Kans.
